Our Base of Influence

Ohrid, often referred to as "Little Jerusalem," has been chosen as the heart of B+F Global’s mission—not by coincidence, but by deep conviction. Nestled beside one of Europe’s oldest and deepest lakes, this UNESCO World Heritage Site holds immense spiritual and historical significance. In the 9th and 10th centuries, Ohrid was home to one of the earliest universities in Europe, a vibrant center of Christian learning that trained over 3,000 priests and helped shape the spiritual identity of the Slavic world.

This legacy of deep-rooted faith, scholarship, and cultural influence makes Ohrid a profound starting point for a new chapter—one that echoes transformation, restoration, and hope. Just as the early church in Ohrid influenced generations beyond its borders, B+F Global seeks to ignite a similar ripple effect of change—spiritually, relationally, and practically.

McNama

Biljana, a native of Macedonia, has always been driven by a deep passion for teaching and serving others. With a strong background in both people-focused roles and leadership positions, she has developed a wealth of experience in guiding and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her commitment to fostering positive change, combined with her managerial experience, enables her to lead BF Global as a space of empowerment, care, and transformation. Under her leadership, the organisation strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Frank
McNama

Frank, originally from Northern Ireland (Great Britain), developed a deep affection for Macedonia from the moment he first set foot in the country. His connection to the land and its people only grew stronger when he married a Macedonian, further immersing himself in the culture, traditions, and community. This personal bond has fueled his passion for making a meaningful impact, both on an individual level and within the broader society.

Known for his unwavering work ethic, hands-on approach, and genuine desire to help others, Frank has become an integral part of BF Global’s mission. His practical mindset and problem-solving skills enable him to tackle challenges head-on, ensuring that the organisation remains effective in providing support and resources to those in need. Whether working behind the scenes or directly engaging with individuals, Frank’s dedication to service shines through in everything he does.
